Yesterday, we went to my folk's house in Hurricane for Memorial Day. We had a BBQ (I made my favorite potato salad recipe) and we celebrated my dad's and sister Maria's birthdays. We'd had an unusually cold weekend, and their big pool was too cold to swim in. The kids were not to be deterred and spent a couple of hours splashing around in the front yard.

Then my old roommate Vanessa (freshman year of college, U of U, SLC, 1999-2000) stopped by with her three adorable kids. They live in Spanish Fork a few hours away but were down south for the weekend.
Vanessa's kids Pene, Mardson and Stott with Luke (and Ava's head...)
I want to smoosh Stott's cheeks!!
Luke spent a large amount of time drinking the pool water and chewing on grass and leaves. You should have seen his diaper this morning.
It was a fabulous day with friends and family! Hope you had a good holiday, too! :)

I am glad you got some good pictures! Mine were horrible so I will be borrowing some from your blog if you don't mind ;)
We had fun with you guys!
Luke and Mana are the same little fishies, except you're lucky that Luke will keep shorts on, we can't take Mana swimming in publicbecause he thinks it's just like the bathtub and you need to swim naked:) The name of the beach we went to was called Aliso beach and it was $1.00 an hour to park, We paid $6.00 to park the whole day. Hopefully that helps:)
