Isabelle is 7 months old!

7 months old!

Weight: 16 lbs. 2 oz. (26th percentile)
Height: 26.5 inches (44th percentile)

New things she can do this month: Grab things at lightning speed (and then put them in her mouth), scratch things (people, faces, random objects), rock in her playpen, sit up on her own, tilt head to the side, pick up and eat finger foods

Isabelle decided to switch things up this month and stop sleeping through the night, but go back to taking decent naps during the day. Mom says teething is to blame. (Ugh, teething.)

But she can't be too easy on her, and so likes to stay up past midnight every night.

She figured out how to go for a ride in her playpen.

She gets so excited by the cat. She wants nothing more than to grab big fistfuls of his fur. He knows this and tries to steer clear of her and her flailing arms.

Watching NOVA with the fam.

 Rainbow Brite leggings!

So many new possibilities for exploring and getting into stuff opened up when she learned how to sit on her own.

She had her first Christmas and tried to eat all the presents she could get her hands on.

"What weirdos."

#Cheeks

Mark is anxious for her to start crawling. I am not because that means my peace of mind is going to go out the window. Again.

Watching the laundry is pretty exciting.

It was a big day when we finally got the high chair out of the storage unit!

She still doesn't like sitting in it much, but she really loves being able to feed herself. She loves any and all food. She has eaten every single thing I've fed her with gusto. Her favorites are pears, bananas, oatmeal mush in various flavors, Baby Mum Mums and Cheerios. She even loves green beans and those baby meat purees.

Out of the blue, she started doing this head tilt thing, which is SO CUTE

This is her primary way of talking: "Mmmmmm"

Tuckered out.

 She is extremely smiley!

We finally, FINALLY bought her a crib. Not that she ever sleeps in it. Separation anxiety and teething means she prefers to be in mom's room, preferably sleeping in her arms all night.

The kids (and the cat) think that under the crib is an excellent place to hang out, watch movies, eat snacks, etc.

I can't believe how big she is getting!!!

Her brother and sister spent a lot of time playing with her on Christmas break, and they loved it! I have the best kids.
