Vegas is not all gambling and girls downtown....welcome to Town Square!
The trees were already in blossom. It was 75°. HEAVEN.
There is a large, gated, free kiddie play area with rubber floors, shade and all sorts of fun stuff. We had to make up for the fact that we weren't staying overnight somewhere with a pool. (In Madelyn's opinion.)
Mark offered to stay there with the kids for an hour while I went shopping.
**choirs singing**
Oh, the shopping. One hour was not enough for even one store. I could have spent two or three days just going to all the different shops. Sigh!!
I got lost on the way over, and the lines were really long, so it was past an hour when I got back to Mark...
We refueled with cookies and a caramel ice cream sundae from the Toll House shop. Madelyn told me that she still had "five wiggles left" and so they ran around some more.
*frolic frolic*
(on artificial grass--Vegas is a desert, after all)

I got Luke a new hat (for $5.95, I love H&M) in his favorite color, green.
Miss Shiny Hair
Cleaning off their black feet afterward...
Madelyn (our animal lover), made me take a picture of this bird taking a drink.
Was this really just a day ago? Sigh...
By the way, Vegas during the summer is 20,000 degrees. But in the early springtime the weather is positively beautiful.
Then we had a short drive over to the stake center where my niece Autumn Yoder got baptized. She and Madelyn are the only girl cousins born in the last decade amongst us Yoders. The rest are boys or are much older. They are quite the pair together.
Grandma and Grandpa Yoder came, too!
Autumn and her sister Aubrey, and their dad Frank (and the bishop in the back)
Rose (Autumn's step-mom) sent me some pictures from her phone:
Cute pic of Madelyn's baptism day! I love it!

We left Vegas at 7:15 pm Utah time and didn't get home till 11:00 pm.We stopped for dinner in Mesquite.
Luke, who did not take a nap at all that day, was completely wired awake until we got home, and then was hysterical, and didn't fall asleep till midnight. This morning was rough for everyone (bloody nose, poop in the tub, tantrums, etc.). We ended up staying home from church to recoup. Mark has taken two naps today, Luke one.

(Striped dress from H&M, scored it for $5 bucks. Don't you wish they sold online??)
Now we are back in snowy, rainy Cedar City. I'm thinking that we might get some springy 75° weather like we had in Vegas in like, May? Hopefully?...
