Amber goes to China

This is my niece Amber Cosgrove:

She is Mark's sister Sumi's daughter and is from North Carolina. She has been going to BYU here in Utah, and because she's awesome, already knows a little Mandarin, has taught immigrant friends in her spare time and is part Chinese herself, has gotten the chance to go over to China to teach English for about 6 months at a school for 9-14 year olds. She's on her way right now! Soon she'll be in a town called Qishan in the Fujian province (near the eastern coast). However:

(Sorry, this was just too funny!)

China censors its internet, and they don't allow facebook or Google. The horrors! I know!! So Amber has asked me to update her blog for her. She'll email me updates and pictures and I'll post them on her blog Amber's Toy's Wildest Adventures. Just wanted to let you fellow Yoders know so you can see what she's up to. A link to her blog is on my family list in the lefthand column of this page. Click on "Amber" to get there.

Good luck, my dear!! You'll have a fabulous time!

That is so awesome! A girl in our ward just got home from doing the same thing! She loved it. That is cool that you were chosen to update Amber's blog!
